Cool Numerical Tornado

WOW, is it extreemly cool? But this is actully not done by a real expert of tornado theoreticists. Another interesting Serrin's swirling vortex demo can be found here which is quite complicated analytical solution done 40 years ago, which was published in the Royal Society.

I've involved Prof. Chu's interest on the tornado research since last December, 2004. We're now writing a paper describing our experiment in a rotating tank using a suction-vortex method in order to generate a 2-cell vortex. Our experiment is somewhat essentially different from the famous Ward's simulator in 1962. We'll explain the details and the future applications of our experiments in this paper.
